"Havana" was inspired by my trip to Cuba this year. The graffiti sprayed old buildings contrasting with bright modern colors inspired me to no end. I actually came home and sketched houses again, an old past time of mine since I was a kid. This piece is painted over hours of houses that I couldn't get quite right. Finally I abstracted it again. The color palette is fresh with lots of grey pinks and cobalt blue. Pops of teal and yellow balance it out.
Acrylic and enamel on 15x30" canvas. Ships ready to hang or rolled in a tube for international orders. Will be signed front and back and varnished with a UV coating. Thanks!
