Let me help you increase the value of your paintings so you can start earning a full-time income doing what you love.
Why this isn't an e-course?
This is not an e-course, it is a painting bootcamp designed to jumpstart your career. Most e-courses focus on giving you information without any really results. Not only do I want to completely upgrade your painting process, but I want you to have the knowledge necessary to never need a painting course again after mine.
Why is there a semester format?
Much like a school, I've built a curriculum that is concise so that you can start seeing results in your paintings immediately. Each week, the lessons and trainings include a variety of videos and background information to challenge you but also give you greater ideas as an artist.
When does class begin?
Classes start officially on September 6th and end on December 16th.
Will there be homework?
Yes! I am a strong believer of learning for the sake of application. You will have homework
In Module 1 we look at Style. What does it mean to steal like an artist. And then we borrow form the masters of Abstract Art including Diebenkorn, Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell, Basquiat, and more. By the end of this module you will have a framework to organize all of the elements of painting that you love into your own unique approach.
In Module 2
I hand over the science of color. This is a process that takes years to perfect but we will attempt to unpack it together by exploring the differences in color across warm and cool spectrums, the easiest way to achieve color harmony without being a master mixer, and why neutrals are so powerful to your paintings.
In Module 3
We dissect composition. Many artists are taught composition strategies for still lifes, landscapes, and portraits, but few learn how to apply these important elements of a painting in the world of abstraction. We break down what is required to have a strong painting so that you know exactly when to finish.
In Module 4
We explore advanced composition techniques. Even with a basic understanding of composition
